HELLO February!

As usual time flies very fast, Chinese New Year is around the corner, have you prepared and get ready for this big festival yet?

The modern day Chinese new year is very different from the old day ones, I still remember when I was a kid, my favourite festival was Chinese new year, because I got new dresses, ang pao, nice TV shows, delicious foods/ cookies and got to visit cousin and relatives..the excitement, the hopes, and the noise of firecrackers were still on my mind. Nowadays, things changed to be very modern and simple, some people may not follow the tradition any more and firecracker was banned in Malaysia, it became illegal activities..BOO! The ambience of festival became very quiet and normal, I don’t feel the excitement anymore, maybe because of I'm an adult now, kids love Chinese New Year!

Another tradition was new year greeting card, I used to give new year greeting cards to friends/ relatives, by hand or by post, ever since we have internet and email/ e-card, nobody post new year card any more  I miss those days. IT might be good and might be bad to us, IT brings convenience to everyone but IT also makes us forget what a real communication meant to be. People pressing their phone during family dinner/ friends gathering more than they talk to each other, this is a very bad habit that I notice in modern day. I try not to text/ press my phone so much during family dinner/ gathering as I think the purpose of meeting up each other is to talk and share about things but not pressing the phone and ignore others.

As mentioned on previous post, I went to have photo shooting with Benny & his friends, and Justin joined in later, my throat became worst after the shooting because of the hot weather of the day. I've been sick for almost 2 weeks and finally I am recovered now, thanks god!!
